The first Treehouse Community is located in Easthampton, Massachusetts.
Since it opened in 2006, the Treehouse Foundation and it's leaders have won
many prestigious awards, including the Purpose Prize from AARP/Encore.org,
the Adoption Excellence Award from the U.S. Dept. of Health & Human Services,
and the Congressional Angel in Adoption Award.
After 10 years of success in Massachusetts, the Intergenerational Treehouse
Community model is coming to Santa Clara County.
